Wollner is a proud member of New York City’s LAByrinth Theater. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in theatre and has studied with teachers Uta Hagen, Stella Adler and Stanford Meisner. She has taught alongside Meisner teacher Phil Gushee at his New York studio and served as a member of the acting faculty of the American 音乐al and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) 温室, also in New York City. Wollner has been a New York casting director for more than 25 years, during which time she has also coached actors privately. As an actress, she has performed at many venues, including The Public Theater, 59E59th Street Theatre, The Cherry Lane Theater, The Geva Regional 剧院, Edinburgh International Fringe Festival, Last Frontier Alaska Festival, and with the Royal Shakespeare Company of London in its U.S. developmental workshop for two London productions. Her directing work has been a part of both national and international theater festivals, including an eight-city tour of Ireland. Her plays have been performed off-Broadway, as a part of LAByrinth Theater’s BARN Reading Series and at New Orleans’ Southern Rep. She has served as story producer for award-winning documentaries. In her story-producing career she has worked with such iconic directors as David and Albert Maysles, Joe Burlinger, Barbara Kopple, Morgan Spurlock, Harris Savides and Deborah Dickson. Her story-producing work has been featured on HBO, ABC, NBC, ESPN, Lifetime, Oxygen, Discovery, A&E television networks and in over 500 national commercial campaigns. She recently casted Josephine Decker’s feature film, “Madeline’s Madeline,” which is currently in national release.
